Prince Steven |
Shatt Kingdom's spoiled snob of a prince. Caring only for himself and for
having a good time, he has no respect for anyone in the palace. Shrugging off
his daily lessons, the prince dreams of escaping the "complicated courtesies"
that surround him so he can be free to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Tom the Beggar |
An unwitting pawn in the prince's scheme, this beggar sought only to feed
himself when approached by his sire and requested to swap clothes with him.
Out of both fear and respect of royalty, he will obey what his prince asks of
him, even if the request sounds a bit strange. Coincidentally, the beggar is
also used as the Cat Minister's pawn as soon as he enters the palace.

Impatiently acting as tutor for the rude and obnoxious prince, the Cat Minister
welcomes the prince's decision to leave the palace. Little does anyone know what
dastardly plans this fiend has in mind for the kingdom!

Wise ruler of Shatt who is tricked and imprisoned by the Cat Minister after
his son, the prince, leaves the palace to indulge in the "simple life".

Hidden away safely in the depths of Fog Forest is Sarah, a skilled magician.
Though her character judgements have been known to be a bit on the critical
side, she'll help out the prince in his time of need if he can gain her trust.

In the dark depths of the thousand foot deep ocean lies the land of
the mermaids. Normally full of joy, the mermaids' paradise now fills with
cries of sorrow. The Mermaid Princess is missing, and her people fear the
worst. Without her warmth and gentle love flowing through their world, things
will never be the same. Where could she be, who has abducted her and for what
purpose?
