Most recent update: 10 - 27 - 2005 This website's purpose is to archive music programmed for the adlib sound card. I created this archive because adlib support is, unfortunately, very difficult to come by. Before this archive appeared, the amount of ripped game music was ludicrously small. I take great care in ripping and otherwise preparing some of the most entertaining adlib music available. Why? Because it is my favorite sound and music card. I enjoy these songs immensely, and wish to share them with others. Various commercial games for the IBM-PC made use of the adlib card from 1989 to late 1996. It is rare to see anyone aside from the demo scene offer support for this hardware nowadays. This website aims to help change that. You will only find adlib music logged from the original games it was featured in, stored in a convenient format for maximum sound quality. If you are looking for standard MIDI files (.MID), you are out of luck. For quick loading time and to ensure only needed code goes into these pages, each portion of the website has been typed in by hand using the DOS text editor, EDIT.
